That’s why the S11 Band features a large raised SOS button with Braille markings, designed to be easy to locate, easy to recognise, and easy to activate when every second counts.
What Happens When SOS Is Activated?
Press and hold the SOS button to call a nominated contact. Safe Start calls one contact and does not send an SOS SMS or app notification. Safe Plus supports up to two SOS contacts and Safe Pro up to three; both paid plans add SOS SMS and app notifications to linked caregivers. The device’s location remains available in the Saf O’ Me app, with update frequency determined by the plan.
Whether it’s a senior living independently, a person with dementia, or a specially abled adult who may need assistance unexpectedly, the S11 Band is designed to make help accessible without relying on a nearby phone, complicated menus, or technical knowledge.
Fall detection alerts are available on Safe Plus and Safe Pro. Every new device includes six months of Safe Pro. Falls are one of the biggest safety concerns for people living independently. The S11 Band includes built-in accelerometer and motion sensors that monitor for movement patterns consistent with a significant fall, followed by a period of inactivity. When detected, the device can automatically initiate the SOS process, even if the wearer is unable to press the emergency button.
Safe Plus lets families set up to two safe zones with app alerts. Safe Pro offers unlimited safe zones with app and SMS alerts. Safe Start does not include safe-zone alerts.
Beyond aged care, the S11 Band can also be used by lone workers, community support staff, field technicians, and others who may spend time working independently.
